Warranty

Hozard offers a 2-year warranty against manufacturing defects on all products you buy from hozard.com. The warranty is free and starts on the day you receive the product. The warranty applies to orders placed from 4 November 2026.

What the warranty covers

If a manufacturing defect appears within 2 years of delivery, we will repair or replace the product at no cost to you. You don't have to prove that the defect was already there at delivery. If a product develops a fault within those 2 years, we assume it is a manufacturing defect unless we can show that the fault has another cause.

What the warranty does not cover

The warranty only applies to normal use. It does not cover damage caused by using the product in an environment outside its specifications, damage caused intentionally or damage caused by force majeure.

How to make a claim

Email info@hozard.com with your order number and a description of the defect. Our service team will first check whether the problem can be solved remotely. If not, we'll send you a free return label and repair or replace the product.

Where the warranty applies

The warranty applies in all countries hozard.com delivers to.

Your statutory rights

This warranty applies alongside your statutory rights and does not limit them. By law, a product must do what you can reasonably expect of it. If it doesn't, you are entitled to free repair or replacement, and in some cases to a price reduction or your money back. These rights cost you nothing and remain in place even if the warranty does not apply or has ended.

If a fault appears in the first year after delivery, the law generally also assumes it was there at delivery. With this warranty, that applies for 2 years.

Who provides the warranty

Hozard B.V., Augustijnenstraat 26, 6511 KG Nijmegen, the Netherlands.

If a printed manual or PDF still says 1 year, the 2-year warranty applies all the same to orders placed from 4 November 2026.

What to do if you receive non-conforming goods:

  1. Contact the seller as soon as possible to report the issue;
  2. Provide proof of purchase, such as a receipt, invoice, or bank statement.

Sellers and producers may also offer commercial guarantees, which apply independently from the legal guarantee. For example, you may see this GARAN label representing a commercial guarantee of durability offered by the producer at no additional cost and covering the entire good.
