You arm and disarm the alarm panel by holding an RFID card near the detection area.

Installation

Alarm panel on the wall

You need: the alarm panel, the wall mounting plate and two screws.

  1. Fix the mounting plate to the wall with the screws. Screw them fully into the wall and make sure the mounting plate is straight.
  2. Line up the hole on the back of the panel with the mounting plate and hang the panel on it.

Alarm panel on a table

You need: the alarm panel and the wall mounting plate. Line up the table mounting hole on the back of the panel with the mounting plate and fix the panel in place. The mounting plate then serves as a stand.

Choosing a place for the panel

  1. Place the panel in the middle of the house, so that it can send and receive signals well.
  2. Place the panel close to the Wi-Fi router.
  3. Do not mount any part on metal surfaces or load-bearing walls.

Door sensor

You mount the door sensor on a door or a window.

  1. Clean the spot on the door or window and stick double-sided tape on the underside of the transmitter and the magnet.
  2. Mount the transmitter (large) and the magnet (small) separately. Point the triangle markings towards each other and keep the gap between them under 0.6 inch.
  3. Then open the door or window. If the indicator light stays on for 2 seconds, installation is complete.

Replacing the battery: remove the transmitter from the door or window and insert a new CR 2450 battery.

Infrared sensor

  1. Mount the sensor 79 to 87 inches (2.0 to 2.2 metres) above the floor.
  2. Place the sensor in a corner or on a flat wall, with no obstacles or blind spots.
  3. Do not point the sensor at warm or cold air flows, or at sources of heat or cold.

First fix the bracket to the wall with screws, then hang the infrared sensor on the bracket's swivel shaft.

Siren

  1. Remove the adhesive backing and stick the siren on the wall.
  2. Secure the siren with screws, then connect the siren to the alarm panel.

In the app, open the "Multifunctional alarm" device, tap the pencil icon at the top right and select "Share Device". On the "Add Sharing" screen, select "Share with account" or "Share with others".

Operation and settings

Alarm panel modes

  • Away Arm: the panel is monitoring. If an accessory is triggered, the panel sounds the alarm.
  • Stay Arm: for when you are at home. In this mode only certain zones are monitored and can trigger the alarm.
  • Disarm: the panel is not monitoring. Only the SOS button or an accessory set to "24h Active" can then trigger the alarm.
  • SOS: in an emergency, press the SOS button. The panel then contacts the emergency contact and sends an alarm notification.

Settings per accessory

For each accessory, choose one of these accessory modes:

  1. Stay Arm Active: when the panel is in Stay Arm, this sensor becomes active and the panel sounds the alarm. Recommended for sensors at main entrances, windows, balconies and the outer boundary of your home.
  2. Away Arm Active: when the panel is in Away Arm, this sensor becomes active and the panel sounds the alarm. Recommended for indoor sensors, such as in hallways and bedrooms.
  3. 24h Active: the sensor always triggers the alarm as soon as it is activated. Recommended for the SOS button, smoke detector, gas sensor, carbon monoxide sensor, water sensor and the like.
  4. Off: the sensor never triggers the alarm.
  5. Doorbell: when you trigger the sensor or press the doorbell, the panel plays a "Ding-dong" at any time.
  6. 24h Silent: the sensor always triggers the alarm as soon as it is activated, but the speaker stays silent.
  7. Stay Arm Active (no delay): when the panel is in Away Arm or Stay Arm, the sensor becomes active and triggers the alarm immediately. Recommended for main entrances, windows, balconies and the outer boundary of your home.
  8. Away Arm Active (no delay): when the panel is in Stay Arm, this sensor becomes active without the alarm going off. Recommended for indoor areas such as the hall and the bedroom, where the alarm sounds immediately without delay.

You can have a sensor work in Stay Arm, in Away Arm, in both modes or 24h Active. If, for example, you do not want a sensor to trigger the alarm while you are at home, set that sensor to the Away mode. If you then set the panel to Stay Arm, the alarm does not go off; in Away Arm mode it does.

Everyday use

You can operate the panel in four ways:

  • on site, with the remote control, the keypad or the RFID card
  • remotely, by SMS
  • remotely, with the app on your phone
  • remotely, through the call centre

In the examples below, 1234 is the user password.

Away Arm

  • Remote control: press the arm button on the remote control.
  • Keypad: on the home screen, press "ARM / \*".
  • RFID card: when disarmed, swipe the card once over the card reading area.
  • SMS: send 1234#1. The panel replies "Remote arm successful!".
  • App: on the home screen, tap "Away Arm". After about 3 seconds the device confirms Away Arm and the icon in the app changes to Away Arm.

What the panel does: you hear "System armed" and the home screen shows "Armed" with the "Arming delay countdown". Leave your home before this delay runs out. If the "Arm/Disarm SMS notification" switch is on, the message "Arming successful" is sent to the phone number you set.

In Away Arm mode, all armed zones are monitored. If an accessory then triggers the alarm, the panel sounds the alarm, sends an alarm message, calls the alarm number you set, sends a notification to the app and sends the alarm information to the receiving centre.

Stay Arm

  • Remote control: press the button with the house icon.
  • Keypad: on the home screen, press "ARM / \*" (twice, see above).
  • SMS: send 1234#1. The panel replies "Stay Arm successful!".
  • App: on the home screen, tap "Stay Arm". After about 3 seconds the device is in Stay Arm and the icon in the app changes.

What the panel does: the voice says "System disarmed" and the home screen shows "Stay Arm". If the "Arm/Disarm SMS notification switch" is on, the message "Stay Arm success" is sent to the phone number you set.

In Stay Arm mode, only the zones set for Stay Arm are monitored. If one of these zones is triggered, the panel sounds the alarm, sends an alarm SMS, calls the alarm number you set, and sends the alarm information to the app and to the alarm receiving centre.

Disarm

  • Remote control: press the button with the open padlock.
  • Keypad: press "DISARM / #".
  • RFID card: in either armed mode, swipe the card once over the reading area.
  • SMS: send 1234#2. The panel replies "Disarm successful!".
  • App: on the home screen, tap "Disarm". After about 3 seconds the device reports that it has disarmed and the icon in the app changes to "disarmed".

What the panel does: you hear "System disarmed" and the home screen shows "Disarm". Any alarm in progress stops and the panel returns to normal mode. If the "Alarm/Disarm SMS notification" switch is on, the message "Disarm successful" is sent to the phone number you set.

SOS

  • Remote control: press the "SOS" button.
  • Keypad: press the panel's SOS key (key 0 marked "SOS").
  • App: on the home screen, tap the SOS icon. The status in the app changes to SOS.

What the panel does: the panel sounds an "SOS" alarm, sends an alarm and calls the alarm number you set, and sends the alarm information to the alarm receiving centre.

Menus on the alarm panel

You scroll through the menus with "Up" and "Down", confirm with "√" and go back with "Back".

Notes on the table

  1. Initialise parameters: the learned remote controls, wireless detectors and RFID cards are kept; all other settings return to factory settings. To do this, send: *6666*43*
  2. Setting an alarm number: the format is xxxxxxxxxx, A, B. Here xxxxxxxxxx is the phone number (up to 18 digits), A is the switch for the alarm call (1 = on, 0 = off) and B is the switch for the SMS alarm (1 = on, 0 = off). Example: you set two alarm numbers. Number 13912345678 gets voice calls and SMS, number 75581234567 gets voice calls only. You then send: *6666*5113912345678,1,1*52075581234567,1,0
  3. Setting the IP address: the format is aaa, bbb, ccc, ddd, xxxxx. Here aaa, bbb, ccc and ddd form the IP address and xxxxx is the port number, separated by an English comma. Example for IP address 116.62.42.223 with port 2001: *6666*90116.62.42.223.2001*
  4. Setting the APN: enter the APN of your local GSM provider. Example for the APN internet.beeline.kz: *6666*92internet.beeline.kz*
  5. Setting the panel name: you can give the panel a name. That name then appears at the start of every alarm SMS, so that with several alarms you can see where the alarm comes from. The format is 1234@xx Building a, where 1234 is the user password and @ is the command word. An example name is "Building a XX Community". The name can be up to 40 characters.

Making calls with the panel

Making a call yourself

On the home screen, press "CALL" to open the "Call" screen. Then follow the buttons on the screen, such as "Call", "Redial", "Backspace", "Back" and "Hang up".

You cannot make calls when there is a GSM network fault, when the panel is armed, or during a call alarm.

Automatic calls on alarm

When an alarm goes off, the panel calls the emergency number you set. The call switch for that number must be on. When you answer, you first hear which alarm it is. If you have recorded a message, it is played. Then you hear these voice prompts:

  • press 1 to arm
  • press 2 to disarm
  • press 3 to monitor
  • press 4 to talk

If it is a false alarm, press 2: the system disarms and the alarm stops. Press 3 to cancel the alarm on site and listen in to what is happening. If you do not need to listen in, simply hang up. If you do not answer or the call fails, the panel keeps calling the number according to the set number of attempts, until you answer.

Calling the panel remotely

If you call the panel from one of the emergency numbers you set, the panel answers automatically. You can then listen in or operate the panel with the voice commands.

Troubleshooting

An alarm number is not called or gets no SMS

Try adding the area code before the phone number, for example 00XX or 0XX.

You cannot make a call yourself

You cannot make calls from the panel when there is a GSM network fault, when the panel is armed, or during a call alarm.

Checking the GSM signal

Request the signal strength with *6666*62*. If "GSM CSQ:" shows 0 or 99, the GSM signal is abnormal.

Forgotten password or the panel is not working properly

Use System settings → Initialisation to reset the panel to factory settings. This is meant for when you have forgotten the operating password, when the panel is not working normally, when the settings have become mixed up, or when you want to add an unknown sensor, remote control or RFID card. Initialisation does not work when the screen is locked.

The panel does not connect to the app

The panel only works with 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi. Check that your router is set up correctly and connected to the internet, that your phone has Wi-Fi and Bluetooth turned on, and that your phone is connected to the 2.4 GHz network.

Good to know

  • You link one alarm panel to one app account. You add other family members by sharing the device.
  • You can only rename an accessory in the app.
  • In Disarm mode, only the SOS button and accessories set to "24h Active" trigger the alarm.
  • The default admin password is 6666 and the default user password is 1234.
  • The panel pairs up to 200 remote controls or sensors and 10 RFID cards, with 1527 or 2262 encoding.
