Installation
Choosing a good spot
Install the alarm as close as possible to the centre of the area you want to protect. This gives the best reception of the signals from all wireless detectors.
Note: install the alarm as far as possible from large metal objects or household appliances that cause high-frequency interference. Avoid shielding materials such as reinforced concrete walls and fire doors.
The installation location must receive at least 5 hours of direct sunlight.
Charging
The alarm charges via the solar panel. Weather conditions and seasonal changes in light intensity can affect charging efficiency.
You can also charge the alarm via the "USB power interface" on the back, with a "USB-DC5V/1A Adapter". Do not use other adapters with higher voltages (see "Good to know").
Mounting outdoors
- Fix the bracket: secure the bracket in the chosen spot with wall plugs and screws.
- Attach the product: line up the sound and light alarm with the bracket clips and pull it down to lock the alarm in place.
Pairing
You pair a remote control, detector or alarm host with the alarm through accessory configuration mode ("configure accessories").
Pairing an accessory
- Set the battery switch on the back of the alarm to "ON". The alarm turns on: the buzzer sounds twice and the indicator light flashes twice. This means the alarm is working normally.
- Briefly press the S3 button. The buzzer sounds once ("Di") and the indicator light flashes continuously. The alarm is now in accessory configuration mode.
- Within 20 seconds of the alarm entering configuration mode, trigger the remote control, detector or alarm host so that it sends its code signal.
- Listen to the alarm:
- One "Di": configuration was successful.
- Two "Di" sounds: configuration failed.
- A fast "Di Di Di Di": the accessory is already configured and cannot be configured again.
What the signals mean
| Working state | Indicator light | Buzzer |
|---|---|---|
| Configuration successful | Light on for 1 sec | Long beep 1 sec |
| Configuration failed | Blinks 2 times | Di Di 2 times |
| Repeated configuration | Fast flash | Fast DiDiDiDi |
The alarm supports up to 10 accessories. If you try to pair more, configuration fails.
Deleting all accessories
- Set the battery switch to "ON" to turn on the alarm. The buzzer sounds twice and the indicator light flashes twice. This means the alarm is working normally.
- Press and hold the S3 button. The buzzer sounds four times and the indicator light flashes four times. This means all accessories have been deleted.
| Working state | Indicator light | Buzzer |
|---|---|---|
| Deleted successfully | Blinks 4 times | Di Di Di Di 4 times |
Operation and settings
Choosing the alarm sound and working mode
- Briefly press S1 to choose a different alarm sound. The light blinks and the buzzer plays the selected voice.
- Briefly press S2 to change the working mode. In "Sound and light mode" the light blinks 1 time with a 'beep' sound, in "Sound mode" 2 times with 'DiDi' and in "Flash mode" 3 times with 'DiDiDi'.
Arm
Arming means the standalone alarm switches on all protection. When nobody is at home, you set full detection with alarms on the protection points and make sure all detectors are working. If an event (break-in, fire, gas leak and so on) triggers a detector, the alarm system immediately raises a remote alarm.
How to do it: press the button with the closed padlock on the remote control once.
Disarm
Disarming means putting the alarm into a non-alarm state. You normally do this after arming, or to stop the alarm after it has gone off. After disarming, normal zones are no longer active, except 24-hour zones.
How to do it: press the button with the open padlock on the remote control once.
SOS
If something unusual happens at home, such as an elderly person or a child suddenly falling ill, a fire, or a crime such as a break-in, you can press the "sos" button or use a wireless emergency button. The alarm goes off immediately and alerts your family.
How to do it: press the "sos" button on the remote control once.
Restoring factory settings
Press and hold the S3 button. The light blinks 4 times and the buzzer beeps four times ('DiDiDiDi').
Good to know
- Warning: do not use other adapters with higher voltages. This will damage the product and can be dangerous.
- The alarm supports up to 10 accessories.
- How fast the alarm charges from the sun depends on the weather and the season. Give it at least 5 hours of direct sunlight.
